Elk Hair Caddis

Just stumbled upon this really cool piece of animation, it's by a guy called Peter Smith, it's his graduation film from The Animation Workhouse in Denmark. The flexibility of the characters is really nice.

And incase like me, you were wondering how this thing was put together, it is a combination of 3D and stop motion animation, but don't take my word for it, watch this delightful video too.

Artefact 1: Empathy Through Situation

This is an attempt at creating empathy through a story situation, the character having only his body language to communicate to the audience. The aim is that the audience will empathise with how the character is feeling.
